Hunter-husbandman and renowned storyteller D. Firth Griffith renders a tale of hope at the end of the world through an artful blend of narrative, reflection, and scientific inquiry, questioning why our current worldview isn’t working and offering a kincentric and Earthen gift in its place.

In place of the very modern story that humans must “save the world,” Stagtine, Book I of The Wildland Chronicles, circles inward toward a simpler and more ancient proposition—the hope inhabiting the end of the world is enlivened when we relinquish control and step into right relationship and not when we do more or do nothing.

Stagtine follows the author’s transition from a struggling regenerative farm to a paradigm-shattering and kincentric rewilding landscape. To anyone longing to rediscover a world of wisdom and wonder, of nuance and life, welcome. Our journey is just beginning.
